Wind Power - Wind turbine lifts

Leading lift with rack-and-pinion technology

We use the rack and pinion techonology in our design, manufacture, and installation of wind farm lifts . We created our GA lifts to meet the strict installation and maintenance needs of wind farms. Our lifts transports operators safely and efficiently . Our ergonometric design allows easy and quick personnel evacuation.

In addition to wind turbine lifts, we offer the GS assistants. This series may be used when the generator tower does not have a lift installed, and facilitates ascent and descent of personnel.

Seapower

The SEAPOWER project aims to promote the collaborative research and development of technologies and solutions for offshore wind turbine structures, towers and auxiliary systems for the new generation of high-power wind turbines.

The project is headed by SENER engineering, which will also coordinate the activities for floating solutions. IDOM will be in charge of fixed solutions, while two leading companies in the manufacture of structures, HAIZEA WIND and NAVACEL, head the packages linked to XXL towers and transition pieces, respectively.

The consortium is rounded off by ALKARGO, a transformer manufacturer; DITREL, a developer of an innovative concept involving electrical connections to wind turbine foundations; ERREKA, a manufacturer of fastening solutions for offshore wind farms; JASO Tower Cranes, lifting equipment experts; MUGAPE, anti-corrosion coating experts; and NAUTILUS Floating Solutions, a developer of a proprietary floating platform concept. The consortium also has the support of two Basque Science, Technology and Innovation Network (RVCTI) centres: Tecnalia and Tekniker.

The project has a budget of €5.3m for 2019–2021 and is funded by the Basque Government’s Hazitek Programme, with the support of the European Regional Development Fund
